The Hidden Truths Behind Dam Failures in Appalachia

Lidia LoPinto

Join Lydia as she reveals an unsettling reality: the Tennessee Valley Authority, a once-reliable dam system, is facing scrutiny after the catastrophic failures during storm Helena’s unprecedented rainfall in Appalachia. Why did these dams, originally designed to protect and power communities, crumble under pressure? Lydia's extensive research unveils a web of mismanagement, unqualified leadership appointments, and the potential influence of lobbying that redirected essential dam maintenance funds to questionable green energy projects. This episode challenges the mainstream narrative and calls for a critical examination of government accountability and the dire need for congressional investigations.

Lydia takes us beyond the headlines with a compelling analysis of ongoing legal battles, as affected residents unite to expose governmental negligence. Using AI technology, she digs deep to uncover hidden documents and a list of current lawsuits, involved parties, and the persistent obfuscation of truth by mainstream media. This episode isn’t just about failed infrastructure; it’s a rallying cry for transparency, responsible governance, and the power of informed citizens. Don't miss this eye-opening conversation packed with data-driven insights and a call for justice in the face of environmental and administrative failure.

Speaker 1:

Hi everybody. This is Lydia and the report is on Amazon, it's ready to be downloaded and you can download it for free and if you get to Amazon and you type readamazoncom, you can read that report right on Amazon. Okay, for free, there's nothing, you don't have to pay anything for this week. I'm going to see if I can get it for free for the next few weeks. They charge a minimum of 99 cents. I'll see if I can get that zero on Amazon, but you can read it online using Amazon and it's fairly low memory requirements. When people actually wake up and find out what happened in Appalachia, there's going to be congressional investigations, there's going to be firings, there's going to be arrests, because, as many people have said here on this platform, this is not the same as Helena or Milton going through Florida.

Speaker 1:

The rains here were caused by Helena. Yes, there were 30 inches of it caused by Helena. Yes, there were 30 inches of it. But the dams were originally designed to stop the rain, to hold it, to protect the residents. That's why they were built. Not only that, those dams also produce electricity, so they do have an income coming from those dams, the electric power coming from the dams.

Speaker 1:

So what happened? Why weren't the dams able to catch the water? Well, the misleading information from the mainstream media is that there was too much rain. The dams couldn't cope. But if you read the articles, you find out that for two weeks they had a problem that their dams got full, because for weeks before they were full and never fully drained. People said that normally they drained it in the winter and spring. They drained those dams to hold the water for the summer rains. Okay, because storms like this happen all the time in that area there's a lot of rain. So why weren't those dams drained? Well, let's start from the beginning.

Speaker 1:

The TVA is owned by the federal government. It's managed directly by the federal government. In fact, biden and Kamala Harris appointed the board of directors and in fact they all were appointed in May of this year. That board of directors, which is listed in my book, are people that do not have any kind of training in running a dam system, a hydroelectric power system, and we have a situation where the where the government was running a dam system that is one of the largest in the country, spanning several states, with people that seem to me, in my opinion, from looking at their bios, completely unqualified to run such an important system. Okay.

Speaker 1:

We also find from the residents who have united and are currently suing the government yes, this is happening the fact that they went out and spent the money they should have been spending on repairing dams, on draining dams, on doing all the work they need to do to maintain them. They went out and spent millions of that on green energy. How they can dare call them green energy when hydroelectric is green energy, I don't know, but this is how they lie. So they went out and, because of lobbyists, they went out and bought, spent millions of dollars on windmills and solar panels Money they should have been spending on draining and fixing the dams. Okay, so that's why you have lawsuits. The lawsuits are because the government didn't do their jobs and the lawsuits exist, and I have a list of the current lawsuits that are happening right now in the book. I also have a list of the current people running the TVA. I have a list of all the dams involved and when they opened. I have also information on the lobbyists and what they were doing.

Speaker 1:

All is coming from documents that are available online. So what I did is research that out. I used AI to deep search the web, because the AI can flip through so many pages and find the appropriate documents. Because, as you know, many of the search engines are also managed by the same people that manage the mainstream media, which are people that are trying to obscure all of this information. Okay, that's why people are getting so frustrated that their videos are not seen or that the information is not getting out there. Ok, it is. It is an ongoing effort to obscure this information by the mainstream media. How do I know? Am I guessing this? No, no, no, I'm not guessing. Again. I like to use AI, the worst enemy of the Democrats, because AI doesn't care what party you're in.

Speaker 1:

I asked it to go and look at all the articles from the mainstream media, read them all and tell me if there was a bias in them and if this was inappropriate coverage for the level of tragedy that this was. And it told me in the article I wrote an article. It's in the book. It told me that, no, they were definitely biased. They didn't mention the TVA at all. They didn't mention Biden or Kamala at all. It's in the book. It told me that, no, they were definitely biased. They didn't mention the TVA at all. They didn't mention Biden or Kamala at all as having responsibility.

Speaker 1:

And not only that. They pumped up stories like Diddy and something else, things that don't matter, instead of putting this story, which should be on the front pages, into Into the mainstream. Why did they do that? Because this does not look Good For Kamala Harris, because she was directly responsible For appointing the board of directors. When she appointed them, biden was sick, so it was her that did it. Okay, was she aware of what's happening? I'm not sure. I don't think she's aware of anything, but you know, just because you don't know how to do your job and you make mistakes, it doesn't mean you're not guilty. Okay, so that's the end of this video. Please pass it on. I'm going to put in the comments the links to the report and pass it on and get together with the people suing the government and do that.
